Housing solutions for asylum-seekers
Competition Entry

This project proposes a modular housing solution designed to integrate asylum seekers into the local community. The concept includes a flexible module that can be applied to various urban settings, creating a network of services that support newcomers. Rather than concentrating services in one location, the design promotes smaller segments dispersed throughout the city, fostering integration on a local scale.
Sustainability is at the core of the project, incorporating water reuse, renewable energy, and urban greenery. The proposal also emphasizes social inclusion by providing community spaces such as a café, which offers employment opportunities, and areas for growing food. This holistic approach aims to create a self-sustaining, vibrant community that benefits both newcomers and locals.
